Associate Professor, Ph.D., University of Kansas
Dr. Pennington's main teaching and research interests include intercultural communication, human relations, and public address. One of her special interests is labor rhetoric. She has a joint appointment with African and African-American Studies. In 1999 she received the Steeples Award given by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences for Outstanding Service to the state of Kansas.
